These Dot the Number Mazes are an excellent way to develop critical thinking skills while learning to identify numbers. Kids will feel so proud when they make their way through the mazes.
These dot the number mazes are a great busy activity or addition to a math center. I like to leave them in our math learning station or pull one out when I need to occupy Evan for a while. I like that they integrate critical thinking skills and number identification and he enjoys solving the puzzle. He always feels so accomplished when he finishes a maze. It is a great self-esteem boost.
You can use dot markers or dot stickers to cover the dots on the maze. Kids can also just use crayons to color each dot.
I made them so that the lower numbers are easier to finish and some of the higher numbers have a bit more difficulty involved. Overall, they are fairly simple and straight forward for most young preschoolers to accomplish.
