Using This Editable Reading Activity
If you want to reuse this activity, laminate the pages and use dry-erase markers. Students can read, write, and color using the markers and then erase them when they are done for the next student to use.
Since the worksheets are editable, you can type high frequency words or anything else you want into the spaces. Choose words that students need to work on and place them in centers.
If you have a sight word list you use with kids each year, type the lists up and have these ready for centers. You can also laminate them to use each year. This works just as well for any other words.
Differentiated Literacy Practice with the Editable Read, Write, and Color Worksheets
This is a great way to reinforce skills that students have already learned. Add them to centers, use them during small groups, or send them home for extra practice. Pinpoint which skills your kids need to work on and type them in the spaces.
Students can use these reading, writing and segmenting pages to practice this skill independently or with a partner during literacy centers.
If you want kids to practice writing more, have them rainbow-write the word in the writing section. This means they will write over the word several times in different colors!
As you can tell, these editable worksheets are packed with learning opportunities. Students will learn essential literacy skills while getting lots of fine motor practice!
