This printable grocery list scavenger hunt is a fun way to the kids occupied at the grocery store. Now you can enjoy a shopping trip in peace!
If you have young kids, you know that a trip to the grocery store can be total chaos. From constant requests, complaints of boredom and even temper tantrums, it can be quite a feat to get through the grocery store with everything you need and your sanity in tact.
That’s why this printable grocery list scavenger hunt is so awesome! All you need to do is print it out and you’ll be on your way to a more peaceful shopping trip.
Grab the printable by clicking on the button at the bottom of this post. I like to print them on cardstock paper for durability. I just have the kids look for all of the items on the list whether we need them or not. But you can also have them circle the items needed in advance and then cross them off while you are in the store. Both ways work great!
Saving Money on Groceries and Gas
On this particular day, we visited one of our favorite grocery stores, Market District. I especially love shopping there because Market District Grocery Stores and GetGo® fuel have teamed up to create a great new loyalty program for frequent customers.
So today I am introducing fuelperks +, so you too can save on food and fuel. You can earn 10¢ off per gallon of GetGo® fuel OR 2% off of groceries at Market District for every $50 you spend! All you have to do is scan your Advantage Card every time you make a purchase inside of Market District or GetGo, or when you pump fuel at GetGo.
Perks add up fast when you use gift cards like cash, the online grocery ordering service, Curbside Express, and the pharmacy at Market District. Plus, there are multiple GetGo locations around Indianapolis that make it easy to redeem your fuelperks. That’s awesome!
Grocery List Scavenger Hunt
I decided to pick up some groceries and show you the printable grocery lists in action. Plus, I wanted you to see how much I saved with my Advantage Card. The kids loved having something to do while I shopped and I loved that I could focus on finding the deals.
They were so focused on searching for the items on their list while we walked down the aisles. There were no fights or tantrums. It was actually quite amazing!
Now that I have an Advantage Card and a way to keep the kids happily occupied in the grocery store, grocery trips are sure to be far more enjoyable!
If you want to save even more money, you can earn 5% off a future grocery order OR 25¢ off per gallon of fuel just by watching this fuelperks + video!
