Play dough is a wonderful tool to help students strengthen their fine motor muscles! Fine motor muscles are vital for handwriting, coloring, and more. If you don’t want to use play dough, grab a dry erase marker and have the students trace or decorate the bubble number.
You can use small manipulatives that match your theme to make this number activity fun and engaging any time of the year. Some ideas are pom poms, mini erasers, counting bears, etc.
Don’t have linking cubes to build the towers, no worries! Use small blocks or LEGO bricks to build towers.
