The slides are totally customizable, so you can assign different groups of students to different slides if you want. Some could be working on 10 words, while others are working on 20 words. It is very easy to delete or add slides. This makes it very easy to differentiate.
This activity is very self-explanatory and easy for your students to use. All they must do is grab the letter candy corns and drag them over to the pumpkin’s mouth.
To begin, students will go to the first slide and look at the word at the top.
Once they have identified that word, they will drag and drop the correct letters to spell the word.
This continues until they have gone through all of the slides you have assigned.
You may have students working on sight words, CVC words, or alternating between different word lists each day to practice different literacy skills. No matter what skill or level they’re at, they’ll gain meaningful practice with this activity.
