Apple Sight Word Building Mats
These digital apple sight word building mats are great for practicing sight words in the classroom or via digital learning platforms. Learning sight words is a key skill in the primary grades, especially kindergarten and first grade.
Students will practice building sight words, reading, and writing the words. On each slide, students will have multiple opportunities to work with each sight word.
This digital version makes the activity accessible to students, even if they don’t have access to magnetic letters and letter manipulatives.
These apple sight word building mats are a great addition to your apple unit of study. In the fall, you can use these mats to review sight words from the prior year and practice new sight words that you are learning.
For this learning activity, all you need to do is enter the words from the word list into the “Read It” section and the students can get started! Type in any words you want!
