How to Use this Apple Activity
To begin, each child gets a mat. They will then place the transparent spinner over the spinner on the mat. Once they spin, they build the word they landed on inside the apple’s mouth. Then, they will write that word on the line.
For example, if the game board has high frequency words on it. The student will spin the spinner and land on the word “went.” They will then build the word in the mouth of the apple. Lastly, they will write the word went on the line. Then, erase and spin again.
