Search and Trace Number Worksheets
The kids are going to have a blast searching for numbers and the tracing them when they use these search, find and trace number worksheets! They are perfect for students who could use extra practice with number recognition, counting and number formation.
This free printable pack comes with 8 worksheets (4 in color and 4 in black and white). I like to provide both versions to give everyone the best option for their classroom.
Each worksheet has 5 or 6 numbers printed in a tracing font. With multiple skills covered on each sheet, this math activity is jam-packed with learning.
Print and Play Numbers Activity
These number sheets are super simple to prep! Just print and play. If using the black and white version, you can just print and use as is. Or you can slip it into write and wipe pockets and students can color with dry-erase markers and trace with them too.
If using the color version of these sheets, you can print and slip into write and wipe pockets and use them again and again.
Then students can use dry-erase markers to circle the pictures and trace the numbers. They can also use counting cubes or mini erasers to mark the pictures, if you want to change it up.

How to Use the Worksheets
These free printable number search worksheets are so fun, and I think your students will love them!
Students will look at a number and search for a matching ten-frame or twenty-frame. Once they find it, they will trace one instance of that number at the bottom of the worksheet. They will repeat this process two times for each number on the sheet.
If they are using the color version, they can circle the picture and then trace the number. If they are using the black and white version, they will color the picture once they find it and then trace the number.
Ideas for the Classroom
This number search activity would be so beneficial for multiple levels. Students working on numbers 0-5 can use those sheets, students working on 0-10 can use both of those and students who are ready for teen numbers can use the 11-20 math worksheets.
Use them for soft start morning work, add them to math centers or utilize for early finishers. They can be used in a variety of ways and with different manipulatives as well.
