Differentiated Alphabet Letter Identification Activity

Students will take an alphabet clip strip and look at the uppercase and lowercase letters that are at the top of the strip.

Then they will try to find that letter on the other spaces on the strip. Each strip has one uppercase version of the letter and one lowercase version of the letter. So students will need to clip two letters per strip.

You can differentiate this activity by choosing letters that your students are currently learning or letters that they already know. You can choose the number of letters your students will work on at a time.

Students can work on the strips independently or with partners. They can be used during centers or small group instruction.
