How to Use the Alphabet Worksheets
Use these alphabet activity letter worksheets to teach letter recognition, letter formation and letter sounds in a way that is hands-on and engaging. Students will engage with each uppercase and lowercase letter in a variety of ways.
To begin, they will say the name of the letter and then decorate it. They might color the letter, draw designs on it or add drawings to it. Then they will trace the letter using the letter formation font. Next, they will trace the letter with the dashed font. Then they will find the letter and color it or dot it. Finally, they will be introduced to the sound the letter makes when coloring the beginning sound picture at the bottom of the page.
The lowercase letter worksheet and the uppercase letter worksheet have different beginning sound pictures on them, so students will be introduced to two words for each letter.
