Rain Cloud Feed Me Numbers

It seems my kids enjoy learning any skill when they get to pretend to feed something. There is something very motivational about being able to feed the animal or object something. It seems so simple, but it really makes learning these skills so much more fun.

They had a blast when we fed the crayon box numbers and letters and they loved feeding the rain cloud sight words too.

This particular theme is perfect for spring or a weather theme.

For this feed me activity, students will feed raindrops to the rain cloud. My kids thought this was so fun!

There are number cards that show “Feed me the number” and then a ten-frame, counting picture, or base 10 blocks are shown underneath. Numbers 0-20 are covered.

This makes it very easy for you to differentiate for the different levels you teach in your classroom.

All of the raindrop cards that you feed to the rain cloud have a numeral written on them.

  • The Rain Cloud Feed Me Numbers Printable (button to download at the bottom of this post)

You will probably want to laminate the number cards, raindrop cards and rain cloud for durability, but it can be used without.

Once you have the tissue box set up and the cards cut out and laminated, it is ready to be used. Your students are sure to have a blast feeding the rain cloud while learning numbers!
