Setting Up the Snowman Comparing Sets Clip Cards

Supplies Needed:

  • Clothespins, clips, or paperclips
  • Scissors

Directions:

  1. Print the cards. There are 4 cards per page.
  2. Laminate the cards.
  3. Cut the cards apart.
  4. Slide the cards and clothespins or clips into a baggie or tray for easy storage and grab and go access.

How to Play

Students will pick a card. Then, they will count the number of snowflakes in each snowglobe. They will use a clip to mark the snowglobe that has more snowflakes. Next, they will circle the corresponding snowglobe on the recording sheet to show you the correct answer. They will continue until all the cards have been completed.

This simple learning resource has basic instructions. The students should be able to complete the activity on their own, making it an excellent resource for math centers or independent learning time!
