Setting Up the Telling Time Activity in Google Slides

Students may use Google Slides™ to do this activity.

The download file includes a detailed guide with instructions and pictures on how to use this activity with you students, but it is quite simple to do.

If you are a instructor or teacher, you will want to copy the Google slides assignment to your Google Drive and save it as a master copy.

Make sure that you click the dropdown next to the attachment. Pick the “Make a copy for each student” option.

Learning to Tell Time to the Hour and Half-Hour

Students will use this activity to learn how to read an analog clock and find the matching digital time.

Students will begin by looking at the clock and determining what time it is.

Teaching students to tell time to the hour and half-hour.

Once they figure out what time it is, they will look at the digital time choices on the right side of the clip card and find the time that matches the clock.

Then they will choose a virtual clothespin and drag it over to “clip” their choice.

This continues through all of the slides.
