Back to School Feed Me Words Activity
The school year is about to start and your students will love this feed me words activity! You get to add whatever words to the resource that you want your students to practice reading and spelling. They will drag and drop letter tiles into the desk’s mouth to feed him the words. You could practice sight words, CVC words, student names and so much more!
Once you download the resource, you will need to save a copy of your own. Then you will be able to click in the text box above the desk and type in any words that you want. The students will drag the letter tiles into the desk’s mouth to spell the word and move to the next page. There are 18 spots for words but you can add or delete pages to fit your student’s levels.
Setting Up the Feed Me Words Activity in Google Slides
Students may use Google Slides™ to do this activity.
The download file includes a detailed guide with instructions and pictures on how to use this activity with you students, but it is quite simple to do.
If you are an instructor or teacher, you will want to copy the Google slides assignment to your Google Drive and save it as a master copy.
Make sure that you click the dropdown next to the attachment. Pick the “Make a copy for each student” option.
Setting Up the Feed Me Words Activity in SeeSaw
Students can also use this activity in Seesaw, if you would like.
You will click the Seesaw-specific link in the download file. When you arrive at the activity, you will need to click the “Save Activity” button. Then you will assign the activity to your students.
